Janet C. Roundtree, 72, of Wenona, died peacefully on January 16, 2017 in O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in First Presbyterian Church in Wenona with Rev. Frank Silas officiating. Burial will be in Wenona Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is assisting her family.
Mrs. Roundtree was born in Streator on April 25, 1944 to Emory and Edna (Wilson) Loser. She married John R. Roundtree on July 15, 1988. She worked at Owens Glass in Streator, American Hearst in Peru, and then Quantum Chemical in Morris.
Mrs. Roundtree is survived by one son Richard “Dean” Davidson of Wenona, one daughter Tamera (Rodney) Prestin of Wenona, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one brother Donald (Lucy) Loser of Wenona.
She was preceded in death by her husband on February 27, 2015, one son Scott Davidson, and two sisters Linda Loser and Donna Haig.
