Beth Pyszka

Beth Pyszka, 64, of La Salle passed away May 15, 2016 after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Pastor Betty Delgado officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of services. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Beth was born on May 3, 1952 in La Salle, the daughter of George and Vivian (Anderson) Norquist. She attended school in La Salle. She was a baptized and confirmed member of Trinity United Church of Christ, La Salle.

Beth had a zest for life; she loved high speed roller coasters and white water rapid rafting. Her family was her greatest joy and treasure. Coming in a far second was Elvis Presley.

She is survived by her son Michael (Sheila) Hill, daughter Carrie Travis, brother Ned (Connie) Norquist, 4 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Lyle Norquist, sister-in-law Mary Ann (Kurtz) Norquist, sister Nancy (Norquist) Harms, and brother-in-law Ron Harms.
