Lynda L. Riley, 76, of La Salle and formerly of Tonica, died peacefully in her son’s home in Brookville, OH on October 15, 2017.
Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Saturday in the Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica with Rev. Paul Bladen, Pastor of Deer Park Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Tonica. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of services.
Mrs. Riley was born in Spring Valley on September 9, 1941 to Raymond John and Leona Elizabeth (Mohr) Brady. She married Leighton “Reid” Riley on July 18, 1965. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, Deer Park Church, and TOPS in Tonica. Lynda enjoyed reading, crosswords puzzles, watching old movies, and Elvis. She loved going to Disney World in Florida especially visiting Downtown Disney. She did not know a stranger, and her love was her family.
Mrs. Riley is survived by her son David Riley of Brookville, OH, two grandchildren Camden Reid Riley and Cordia Lynn Riley, one sister Bonnie Bernabei of Lowell, one brother David (Kathy) Brady of Lostant, two special friends Reenie Pragg and Steve Wilcox both of Brookville, OH, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband on February 6, 2008.
