My sincere condolence to the Vela family. I will always remember Dee when I was a young child. I remember her as being very beautiful and always smiling. She did not change much through the years. The last time I saw her at the Ottawa Pavillion she was still smiling and still very beautiful. Naturally we discussed politics which I knew she enjoyed so much. I will miss her smiling face and her intellect. God bless all of the members of the Vela and Alvarado families.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Not until I read her obituary, did I realize she had accomplished so much in her life. She was quite a woman to have raised such a large family and the work in so many different areas. I'm sure she was very loved by all of her children while have lived such a long life. God bless

I'm so sorry to hear of Delores's passing, my deepest sympathy I know this is a difficult time and we will miss her deeply. Delores always had a smile arms open wide and a big hug for me, that I remember to this day. It was always a big treat to be at a Vela family gathering. God bless you all!
