Dolores Glynn, 89, formerly of La Salle died at 1:36 AM October 6, 2015 in Moline, IL surrounded by her loving family.
Private funeral services and visitation will be Friday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Revs. Pete and Charlene Belski officiating. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in La Salle.
Mrs. Glynn was born in Spring Valley on January 5, 1926. She married John Clifford Glynn on November 7, 1945. Mrs. Glynn was a CNA at St. Mary’s Hospital in La Salle until closing. Then, she worked until the age of 75 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital. Following her retirement, she cared for the elderly as an employee of Angel Care. She enjoyed going to the gambling casino and taking care of her beloved cat Maggie. Her real love was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Glynn is survived by one daughter Linda (Gale) Adams of Coal Valley; three sons Larry (Marcella) Glynn of Peru, Terry (Raejean) Glynn of Hennepin, and Gary (Sharon) Glynn of Utica; grandchildren Lory (David) Kilanowski, Michael (Betty) Glynn, Shelly (Steve) Trilikis, Sherrie (Jerry) Kurtz, Shayne (Lisa) Glynn, Christy (Jose) Cerda, Jason Glynn, Haley, Brittney, Cody, Jess, Emily, Alyssa, Jade; great grandchildren David (DJ), Tiana, Brandon, Brittany, Sophie, Reese, Sariah, Lexi, Bradley, Jake, Aidan, and Olivia.
She was preceded in death by her husband on January 6, 1987; one son in infancy; and one brother Pete Belski.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
