Angel Lynn Gende, 34, of 1830 Campbell Ave. LaSalle, died peacefully on October 11, 2016 in her home surrounded by family and friends after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Thursday in the Hurst Funeral Home in LaSalle with Rev Michael Morrison officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home. Private burial will be on Friday in the Peru City Cemetery.
Angel was born in Peoria on October 9, 1982 to Byran and Saundra Dee (Holliday) Randall. She married J. Gende on October 20, 2007. She was a homemaker. Angel loved spending time with her kids and her family. She enjoyed baking cupcakes, building Lego sets, listening to Christian music, her pet fish and her two dogs Atlanta and Georgia.
Angel is survived by her husband J. Gende; one daughter Aleeyah; three sons Byran, Cole, and William; her father Byran (Mary) Randall of Geneseo; her mother Saundra Hall of Granville; one brother Royal (Michelle) Randall of Chillicothe; two step-brothers Dakota and Tyler Hall of Granville; paternal grandparents Royal and Pat Randall of Magnolia; Maternal grandfather Bill (Diane) Holliday of Montana. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Donna Cunningham.
