Wayne R. Reynolds, 71, of Oglesby, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025 at the Illinois Veterans Home at La Salle.
Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle has been entrusted with Wayne’s services.
Wayne was born in Lynn, MA on December 5, 1953 to Robert and Margaret (Smith) Reynolds. He served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he was stationed in Germany.
Wayne married Kris Renn on January 2, 1992. He was a train enthusiast, enjoyed listening to classical music and, in his younger years, was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corps.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Kris, of Oglesby, one brother Ken (Karen) Reynolds of New Hampshire, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kevin and Albert Reynolds.
