Wayne Burns Obituary

Wayne R. Burns, 86, of Wickliffe, KY and formerly of La Salle, passed away on May 21, 2023 at Baptist Health ContinueCare Hospital in Paducah, KY.

Wayne’s wishes were cremation and there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday June 23, 2023 at St. Valentine’s Cemetery in Spring Valley. Wayne was a veteran of the US Army and full military honors will be conducted by the Peru Veterans Memorial Group. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting his family with the arrangements.

Wayne is survived by his wife Carolann (Pakula) Burns of Wickliffe, KY, daughter Sheri (Ron) Thompson of Ottawa, son James (Rose) Burns of Bardwell, KY, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
