Wanda F. Harvey

Wanda F. Harvey, 74, of La Salle, passed away at home on January 6, 2025.

Burial will be Saturday in Holliday Cemetery in Chavies, KY.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with funeral arrangements.

Wanda was born in Hazard, KY on October 4, 1950 to Samie and Claire (Gwin) Holliday.  She married David L. Harvey in 1974.  He passed away in 1997.

Wanda was a great mom and loved being with her grandchildren and family.  She would help and do anything for anybody. She enjoyed cooking, gambling, and watching her soap opera shows.

Wanda is survived by four sons: Paul Harvey of La Salle, James Harvey of La Salle, Timothy Harvey of Paw Paw, and Tom (Amara Hatley) Harvey of Peru; eight grandchildren: Katie, Travis (Adriaan), Blake, Aiden, Megan, Destiny, Noah and Luke Harvey; two sisters Gladys Smith of Stanton, KY and Martha Stidham of Hazard, KY; three brothers: Wallace Holliday of Seymour, IN, Fred Holliday of Whitesburg, KY and Johnny Holliday of Viber, KY;

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son Patrick Harvey; one sister Anna Acosta; four brothers: Beecher Holliday, Ben Harrison Holliday, William McArthur Holliday and Fontian Holliday.
