Vincent S. Hernandez

Vincent S. Hernandez, 64, of La Salle, died unexpectedly at home on July 10, 2025.

Cremation rites have been accorded and Celebration of Life will be at a later date.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with his funeral services.

Vincent was born in Chicago on January 16, 1961 to Guadlupe and JoEllen (Brasfield) Hernandez.  He owned a vending business and was a security guard supervisor .

He loved being surrounded by his family and friends in the park having a barbecue.  He loved pets and enjoyed helping others in need.

Vincent is survived by two sisters, Racheal (Tom) Perek and Barbara (Francisco) Guerrero; three brothers, Anthony (Debbie) Hernandez, Stephen (Sylvia) Hern, and Raymond (Mary) Hernandez; two sons, Joey (Gina) Hernandez and Vinny Hernandez; and two children he helped raise, Brantley and Paisley Aiken.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Victoria Lopez and Theresa Wilson.
