Vicki L. Parvin, 60, of La Salle passed away unexpectedly at home on March 8, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be 4-7:00 PM Wednesday at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle. The family encourages everyone to wear casual clothing or your favorite band shirt.
Vicki was born in Sparta on May 5, 1963 to James W. and Martha V. (Townley) Dunnivan. She worked many years as a CNA and was currently working at Liberty Village. She was a dedicated, hard worker and enjoyed taking care of others.
Vicki loved her children and grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them. Being Grammy was her greatest joy and meant the world to her. She was a great cook and a jokester. She loved listening to music and going to concerts with her best friend Holly. She enjoyed horror movies and reading, especially Stephen King.
Vicki is survived by her three children Trevor (Tara) Wright of Peru, James Wright of Cherry, and Haley Parvin of Princeton; three grandchildren Ellie and Dusty Rose Wright of Peru and Jaxon Wright of Cherry; two sisters Jan Consiglo of Steeleville, Carla (Ron) King of Sautee NaCoochee, GA; one brother James (Becky) Dunnivan of Sparta; and seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Martha Jeanette Dunnivan, and her bonus daughter Dusty Lynn Wright.
