Valerie (Andrews) Long

Valerie Long, 60, of Rutland passed away December 26, 2024, at her home.

Graveside services will be at Rutland Cemetery in Rutland. The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona has been entrusted with her arrangements.

Valerie was born in Chicago on April 10, 1964 to Wilce and Dolores (Barkowski) Andrews. She married Dave Long on May 2, 1997 in Bloomington. She was a member of Cornell Methodist Church. Valerie loved photography and cars. Her favorite movie was Twilight and favorite musician was Barry Manilow.

Valerie is survived by her husband Dave of Rutland, one daughter Paige Long of Rutland, one son Cooper Long of Bloomington, one sister Bonnie Neumann, and her cousin Michael Jezzor.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her dog, Skittles.
