Troy L. Nass

Troy L. Nass, 62, of Wenona, passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2025.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 26, at the Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona with Rev. Patrick Greenough officiating. Burial will be at Cumberland Cemetery in Wenona. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services. 

Troy was born in Streator on March 6, 1963 to Eugene and Violet (Tetlow) Nass. He was a trucker all his working life and worked at Estes Trucking. He enjoyed motorcycling.

Troy is survived by his two children, Sabastian (Elizabeth) Nass of Wenona and Sammantha Nass of Wenona; three grandchildren, Mason, Jackson, and Ramona; four siblings, Glenn Jones of Wenona, Bill Jones of Wenona, Bob Jones of San Antonio, TX, and Jeannie Kornfeld of Morton; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carolyn Jones.
