Travis “Chode” Seibech

Travis “Chode” Seibech, 31, of DePue passed away December 28, 2024 in Northwestern Hospital in Chicago.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM Saturday until 1:00 PM in the Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd.  Graveside services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday in DePue Cemetery with Pastor Betty Delgado officiating.  

Travis was born in Spring Valley on November 4, 1993 to Kenneth Seibech and Robin Lucas.  He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, taking rides, hanging out with his friends, collecting antique’s and watching the food channel.  When he felt good, he loved to go scrapping and dumpster diving to find treasures.

Travis is survived by his parents of DePue; two brothers, Keith Lucas of Columbus, IN and his significant other Jayde and her daughter Ava, and Denton Seibech of DePue; two nephews, Gavin Lucas and Jayce Hammell; paternal grandmother Mary Ann Seibech of DePue and maternal grandfather Robert T. Lucas of DePue; aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins; and his dog, Rivers.

Travis was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Foster, Chris Walesa, Denton Seibech, Keith Lucas, Robert T. Lucas III and Travis McGinnis.
