Timothy Stevenson Obituary

Timothy E. Stevenson, 68, of Waunakee, Wisconsin, passed away on November 22, 2025, in Fitchburg, WI, after a courageous three-month battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 17, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Uptown Grill in LaSalle at 601 1st St., La Salle, IL 61301. At 3:00 PM, a eulogy will be given by his brother Tom Stevenson.

Tim was born on April 7, 1957, in LaSalle, Illinois, Tim was the son of Glenn and Dorothy (Lushina) Stevenson of Utica, who both survive him.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Carol; his children Erin (Adam) Fisk of Waunakee, WI, Kelsey (Alex) Wilde of Middleton, WI, and Clayton (Sarah) Stevenson of Luxembourg; and his stepchildren Kristi (Shawn) Newell, Wisconsin Dells, WI, and Daniel (Tracy) Delmore, Greendale, WI.

He was a proud grandfather to Mara Newell, Breanna Delmore, Tyler Fisk, Gavin Fisk, and Ira Wilde.

Tim is also survived by his siblings Christie Stevenson of Flatwoods, KY; Tom (Michelle) Stevenson of Peru; and Cindy Picco of Middlebury, IN.

He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Elisa (Brad) Rubeck, Mari (Evan) Goldstrand, Rachel (Jason) Ransom, Maria (Evan) Witt, Renae (Nick) Lindenmayer, Johna (Jacob) Ebbling, Courtney Coleman, Ashley Kilgore, Tyler (Kati) Stevenson, and Rob Stevenson. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family from the Lushina and Stevenson families.

He was preceded in death by brothers-in-law John Picco and Roger Coleman, and by his grandparents Robert and Mabel Stevenson and Ludwig and Anna Lushina.
Tim grew up north of Utica in Waltham Township. He attended Waltham Grade School, graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School with the Class of 1975, and later attended Northeast Missouri State University.

A dedicated and hardworking man, Tim explored many paths in his early years, including masonry, construction, and farming alongside his brother. In 1983, he found his true calling when he helped found Missouri Potato Company. His passion for agriculture and business deepened, and in 1990 he became a founding member of Heartland Farms in Hancock, Wisconsin. He spent the remainder of his career there as Marketing Manager, playing a vital role in helping the company grow into one of the nation's premier potato producers. Tim was widely respected as a tough but fair negotiator.

Outside of work, Tim loved supporting his children and grandchildren. He took joy in helping his daughter Erin with her dance recitals and proudly attended his grandsons' martial arts events. He also enjoyed collecting Toyota Land Rovers and took part in competitive shooting.

Tim will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his loyalty, and his deep love for his family. His presence, guidance, and humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
