Terry W. Trumpinski

Terry W. Trumpinski, 73, of Tonica, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2026 at OSF St. Anthony’s Medical Center in Rockford.

Funeral services will 7:00 PM Friday, May 29, at the Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica.with Rev. Mark Nowakowski officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 PM until time of services. Cremation will follow services and burial will be at a later date at Fairview Cemetery.

Terry was born in La Salle on March 4, 1953 to Joseph and Laura (Kreiser) Trumpinski. He married Vickie Gray on June 15, 1974. He retired from Complete Industrial in Peru in 2019. Terry enjoyed gardening, mowing, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Pittsburg Steeler, St. Louis Cardinals, and University of Illinois fan.

Terry is survived by his wife, Vickie of Tonica; one daughter, Kim Mendoza of Oglesby; three sons, Brian (Lisa) Trumpinski of Tonica, Scott (Kim Jo) Trumpinski of Cedar Point, and Todd (Randi) Trumpinski of Tonica; three grandchildren, Kaylan, Ella, and Grady; seven step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, Noah, Ryker, and Jaze; one sister, Toni Melanson of Tonica; one brother, Bobby (Kathy) Trumpinski of Oglesby; one uncle, Jerry (Pam) Kreiser of Lostant; and a special aunt, Marcia Kreiser of Tonica, who he dearly loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws; and one brother-in-law, Rick Gray.
