Tanner Scott Glynn, 25, of La Salle, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 25, 2025.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 31, 2025 at St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle with Rev. Paul Carlson officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 AM until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle has been entrusted with Tanner’s funeral arrangements.
Tanner was born at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru on December 2, 1999 to Vicki Redd and Scott Glynn.
Tanner was a 2018 graduate of La Salle-Peru Township High School. He was previously employed at St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle. He was an Eagle Scout who loved to fish, spend time in the garden, hot rods and drive his 1931 Chevy Coupe. He was an avid animal lover.
Tanner is survived by his grandparents, Tom and Jule Ann Glynn of La Salle; one sister Rylee (Dustin) Redd of Galva; three nieces, Alitta, Anarah, and Azeyla Leeper; one nephew Alikai Leeper; aunts; uncles; cousins; and his beloved cat, Ray.
Tanner was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Dean and Lois Redd; one brother Bruce Norquist on March 3, 2025; and his great-grandparents, Julius and Dorothy Turczyn, Billy and Lucille Hall, and Blossom and Clarence Manahan.
