Susan A. Russell-Pumo

Susan A. Russell-Pumo, 80, of Utica, passed away peacefully at Allure of Peru on November 9, 2025. 

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 13, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Utica with Pastor Robert White officiating. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle has been entrusted with her arrangements.

Mrs. Russell-Pumo was born in La Salle on April 4, 1945 to Frank and Blanche Russell. She married Richard Pumo. She graduated from Illinois Valley Community College’s nursing program and was a registered nurse for over 20 years. She worked as a nurse for local factories including Caterpillar and LTV Steel. 

Mrs. Russell-Pumo enjoyed shopping and traveling. She particularly loved going to Wisconsin and being outdoors fishing and hiking. 

Mrs. Russell-Pumo is survived by several cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Richard on November 25, 2000.
