Stephanie Rae Nushardt

Stephanie Rae Nushardt, 53, of Utica passed away peacefully at her home on June 13, 2025.

Visitation will be at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle on Thursday, June 19, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:00 PM with Pastor James Newby officiating. Graveside services will be Friday, June 20, at 1:00 PM at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Wheaton with Pastor James Newby officiating.

Stephanie was born in Winfield on January 6, 1972 to Stephen H. and Rhonda (Jonas) Dastrup. She married Kenneth Nushardt on June 2, 2001. She was an animal lover. She loved flowers especially roses. Stephanie enjoyed decorating for the holidays. Christmas was her favorite. She loved her family and spending time with them.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Ken of Utica; her mother, Rhonda Dastrup of Sheffield; three daughters, Emily, Angelina, and Kendal Nushardt of Utica; one sister, Stacy (Lee) Johnson of Northern Illinois; one brother, John (Krissy) Dastrup of Bartlett; and five nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen.
