Salvador Mora Moscoza, 69, of La Salle passed away December 21, 2020 in OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Mass of Christian burial will be 12:00 PM Saturday in St. Hyacinth’s Church in La Salle with Rev. Thomas Otto officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle. Visitation will be in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle 6-9:00 PM Friday and 11:00-11:45 AM Saturday in the funeral home. For those unable to attend, the mass will be live streamed on the Hurst Funeral Home Facebook page. If you are attending the visitation and/or mass, masks must be worn.

Salvador was born in San Pedro, Michvacan, Mexico March 18, 1951 to Juan and Francicia (Moscoza) Mora. He worked at Monterey Mushroom Plant in Princeton.

Salvador is survived by two sisters Esther Mora and Hermelida Mora both of La Salle; one brother Francisco Mora of Canada; and nephews Javier Mora of Peru, Luis Mora of La Salle, Francisca Mora of La Salle, Andies Nieto of Chicago, Julio Mora of La Salle, Celia Nieto of La Salle, Mario Castillo of La Salle, Juan Nieto of La Salle, and Javier Vasquez of Peru.
