Roxanna L. Kerr, 84, of Ladd, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on September 11, 2022 at Henry Rehab and Nursing.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd with Pastor Derek Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Park in Spring Valley. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
Mrs. Kerr was born at home in Granville on November 1, 1937 to George and Gladys (Brown) Englehaupt. She was raised by her stepfather John Maggi Sr. and her mother Gladys Maggi. Mrs. Kerr attended Hall High School. She worked at Perry Memorial Hospital and then worked at St. Margaret’s in the skilled nursing department as unit secretary for 23 years.
Mrs. Kerr was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed sewing and embroidery. Mrs. Kerr loved spending time with her family and especially her grandson.
Mrs. Kerr is survived by one daughter Laurie (Mike) Resetich of Gravois Mills, MO; two sons Larry Kerr of Sparks, NV and Timothy Kerr of Rosenberg; two grandchildren John (Sarah) Kerr of Ladd and Geneva Kerr of Rosenberg, TX; two great grandchildren Allison and Jase; her sister-in-law Judy Englehaupt of Ladd; her brother-in-law Norman Wenzel of La Salle; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Phil Englehaupt, Bonnie Kay Wenzel, and John Maggi Jr.
