Rosa (Ortiz) Gonzalez

Rosa Gonzalez, 63, of Tonica, passed away December 28, 2020 in her home.

Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Saturday in Fairview Cemetery in Tonica with Rev. Thomas Otto officiating.  Visitation will be in the Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica on Friday from 3 to 6:00 PM. Social distancing will be observed and masks will be required.

Rosa was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 12, 1957 to Raul and Maria (Madrigal) Ortiz.  She married Eloy Gonzalez.  She worked as a clerk at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.

She is survived by her husband; Eloy Gonzalez, one son; Ruben (Erin Cantu) Flores of San Antonio, TX, two daughters; Dulce (R.J. Regalado) Flores of Plainfield and Vanessa (Mario) Ortiz-Rivera of Chicago, two brothers; Raul and Javier Ortiz, five sisters; Maria Chavez, Leticia Martinez, Helen Figueroa, Esperanza Ortiz, and Cecilia Chavez.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
