Robert A. Lipka

Robert A. Lipka, 56, of Peru, formerly of La Salle, passed away in his home on December 19, 2024.

Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will not be any services.  The Hurst Funeral Home is entrusted with Bob’s arrangements.

Bob was born in La Salle on December 3, 1968 to Clyde and Marilyn (Gabriel) Lipka.  He married Mary Schweickert (Mary Meyer) on October 3, 1992, and they divorced in 2017. He worked for over 25 years at Flint Hills Resources.  

Bob enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, gambling and going to the casino.  He loved spending time at the lake in Spooner, WI.

He is survived by one son Jake (Katie) Lipka of La Salle and one daughter Emma (Christian) Beardsley of Peru; three grandchildren, Cohen and Killian Lipka and Remi Beardsley; three sisters, Michelle Hanson of Ottawa, Marilyn Lipka of Ottawa and Jennifer Burks of Peru; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
