Peggy J. Kimpflin

Peggy J. Kimpflin, 70, of La Salle, passed away surrounded by her family on June 13, 2026 at OSF St. Elizabeth Peru.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 22, at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Pastor Steve Gibson, Assistant Pastor of Shooting Park Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 PM until time of services. Cremation rites will follow the service.

Peggy was born in Granite City on March 21, 1956 to Donald and Mabeline (Reeves) Wickham. She was a homemaker.

Peggy enjoyed movies, country music and oldies music. She liked Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley.

Peggy is survived by her children, Ralph (Billie Metcalf) Meyer of Plano, Jamie Meyer of La Salle, Georgina Meyer of La Salle, and Amber Meyer of La Salle; fourteen grandchildren; and two sisters, Connie (Sid) Jennings and Ronna (Ernie) Kapellmann.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Talon; five sisters, Donna, Vernie, Tiny, Charlotte, and Georgia; and one brother, Donald.
