Patricia K. English

Patricia K. English, 76, of Utica, died May 27, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday in St. Columba Church in Ottawa with Rev. Corey Krengiel officiating.  Burial will be in Waltham Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7:00 PM Wednesday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle and in the church on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Mrs. English was born in Dixon on April 8, 1942 to Charles and Bernadette (Schwindaman) Mackin.  She married Wayne English on November 14, 1964.

Patricia graduated from St. Anthony School of Nursing in Rockford in 1963.  She worked for Dr. Chung’s office in Earlville for over 30 years.  She started working with Mary Kay Cosmetics on November 7, 1986 and became a Director in 1992. Patricia worked for 32 years with Mary Kay and received twelve Mary Kay cars.

She enjoyed international traveling, gardening and helping her husband on the farm.

Patricia is survived by her husband Wayne of Utica; one son Jeffrey (Phannee) English of Oglesby and one daughter Kristen Bailey of Tampa, FL; three grandchildren, Keaton Bailey, Matt English and Lola English; one sister Charlene (Larry) Lynch of Shorewood, WI and one brother Jim “Charlie” (Kathy) Mackin of Clermont, FL; eleven nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Darlene Mackin of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother David Mackin.
