Milo L. Olson

Milo Leslie Olson, 94, passed away at on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.  Through death, he is rejoined with his wife of 59 years, Mary Jean (Moran) Olson. 

Cremation rites have been accorded. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 22, at the Plattville Lutheran Church. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle has been entrusted with his arrangements.

Milo was born in Morris on January 14, 1931 to Martin Severine and Edna Helena (Knudson) Olson. He served his country as a Naval Sonar Operator for four years.  He also served with the Illinois State Police for 31 years. 

He is survived by their five children, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
