Michael David Smith, 55, of Ottawa, passed away April 2, 2022 in his home.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Michael was born in St. Charles on August 15, 1966 to Orville D. and Wanda L. (Adkerson) Smith. He was a truck driver for many years.
Michael is survived by four children Catherine Gregoire, Amberly Blodsoe, Andrew Smith, and Christina Smith; ten grandchildren; one sister Sandy; his ex-wife and close friend Kelli Smith; and his best friend, his dog, Lady Bird.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Yvonne Elting, and one grandson Michael Scott Galbraith.
