Mia Lewallen

Mia Lewallen, 67, of Champaign, passed away August 25, 2024 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

Private services were at St. Vincent's Cemetery in La Salle with Rev. J.A. Small officiating. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle was entrusted with her services.

Mia was born in Urbana on May 21, 1957 to A.B. and Madeline (Buchanan) Lewallen. She was the most beautiful, kindest, loving, caring, and compassionate person. 

Mia is survived by two sisters Amy Gendreau of Rantoul and Nan (Don) Mosele of La Salle; three brothers Chris Lewallen (deceased), Mark Lewallen (deceased), and Michael (Hong) Lewallen of Urbana; nieces and nephews Christy, Dawn, Heath, Shay, and Tyler Lewallen, Katrina Martinez, Reed Baker, Erin Bradbury, and Sean Lewallen.
