Mary I. Cadegiani

Mary I. Cadegiani, 68, of Oglesby, passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Friday in St. Mary’s Church in Utica with The Very Rev. Michael Driscoll officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.

Mary was born in La Salle on February 25, 1956, to Domenic F. and Annarita (Stachowiak) Cadegiani.  She retired as the Oglesby City Clerk in 2011.  She enjoyed golfing, hiking, pickle ball, traveling and the outdoors.  She loved spending time with family and friends.

Mary is survived by three brothers, Nick (Cindy) Cadegiani of Oglesby, Joe Cadegiani of Oglesby and Andy (Annika) Cadegiani of Lostant; one nephew Kyle Cadegiani; three nieces, Mia (Matt) Kostellic, Gina (Jay) Jones and Kristi (Kevin) Lasik; three great nieces and many great friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Domenic F. Cadegiani and Annarita Bennett and one brother Kevin Cadegiani.

Pallbearers will be Nick, Joe and Andy Cadegiani, Mia Kostellic and Gina Jones.
