Marsha Burrell

Marsha Burrell, 66, of La Salle, passed away November 16, 2021 surrounded by her family at OSF St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Bloomington.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday in Queen of the Holy Rosary Shrine Church in La Salle with Rev. Michael Pica officiating.  Burial will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle.  Visitation will be from 4 to 6:00 PM Friday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.  Additional visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Marsha was born in La Salle on December 18, 1954 to Joseph J. and Mary Ellen (Cattaneo) Konczak.  She worked at Colonial, Citizens and Heartland Bank for over 32 years.

Marsha enjoyed reading, going to the movies and dinner with her friends.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Marsha is survived by one daughter, Bridget (Dan) Reeland of Bloomington and one son, Donald (Megan) Burrell of Peru; four grandchildren, Caleb, Brynn, Camryn and Carsyn; one sister, Sue (Brian) Boldt of Flanagan; one brother, Joseph “Sonny” (Nely) Konczak of Tucson, AZ; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Ellen Beavers.

Pallbearers will be Jason Bohm, Jeff Wallace, Brad Boldt, Keegan Boldt, Joey Santos, and Eric Santos.
