Marilyn Jones Obituary

Marilyn Jones, 81, formerly of LaSalle, passed away May 31, 2021 in Liberty Village of Princeton.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will not be any services. The Hurst Funeral Home in LaSalle has been entrusted with her services.

Marilyn was born in Peoria on May 8, 1940, to Floyd and Nellie (Moore) Doran. She received her Master’s Degree in Education from Illinois State University. She was a Math teacher in Junior High and High School in the Putnam County School District for over 37 years. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She is survived by one son Floyd Jones of Peru.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
