Marian (Eddingfield) Topolski

Marian Topolski, 94, of Tonica, passed away October 23, 2020 in Heritage Health in Peru.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica with Rev. Deepak Holkar, pastor of Tonica United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time of services.

Mrs. Topolski was born in Magnolia Township on July 18, 1926 to Ray and Nona (Trone) Eddingfield.  She married Donald Topolski in 1949.  She was a homemaker and worked at Westclox.

Marian enjoyed fishing, going up north to Minnesota, traveling, puzzles  and going out to dinner.  She was a member of Tonica United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, 20th Century Club, TOPPS and Tonica American Legion Auxiliary. 

Marian is survived by three children, Fred Baker of Naples, FL, Loretta Oliver of Tonica and Donald (Kathy) Topolski of Varna; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, two sisters, Mae Butkus and Helen Waller and two sisters in infancy.
