Maria Doná Bartlett

Maria Doná Bartlett, 51, of Peru, died at home on September 2, 2018 after an extended illness.

A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 PM Friday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Very Rev. Paul Carlson officiating.  Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until time of services.

Doná was born in Kewanee on August 8, 1967 to Lanny and Donna (Barks) Atchley.  She married Patrick Joseph Bartlett on September 8, 2007.  She was a Phlebotomist at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley.  Doná greatest joy was being a mother.  She was a friend to everyone.

She is survived by her mother Donna Downey of La Salle and her father Lanny Atchley of Missouri; her husband Patrick and four children, Amanda Wallis, Logan Wallis, Veronica Bartlett and Angela Bartlett; two granddaughters, Vienna and Gwen Moriarity; one sister, Tina Rose and one stepsister Tammy Mehalic; her father and mother-in-law James and Cindy Bartlett of La Salle. 

She was preceded in death by her step-father Jack Downey and an aunt Dorothy Gross.
