Lynne Ann Hosutt

Lynne Ann Hosutt, 66, of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of La Salle, passed away July 14, 2023 in Arkansas.

A Celebration of Life will be from 2 to 4:00 PM Friday July 28, 2023 in Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in La Salle.

Lynne was born in Bloomington on February 4, 1957 to Edward and Mary (Brown) Hayes.  She married Kent Hosutt on September 23, 1982.  She graduated from Illinois State University with her geology degree.  Lynne worked in her field of multiple years employed by Occidental Petroleum.  Later in life, she worked as a veterinary technician due to her love of animals.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her three dogs.

Lynne is survived by her husband Kent Hosutt of Little Rock; sister Mary Pat (Roger) Zehr of La Salle, four nephews Pat (Vonda) Zehr, Ben Zehr, John Hayes, and Bill (KB) Hayes; one great nephew Ryan Zehr; and sister-in-law Lucy Hayes.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mary Hayes and a brother Edward Thomas Hayes.
