Ludwig "Luke" H. Becker, also known to some as "Bada Bing", 86, of Wenona passed away peacefully Monday, April 14, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony's Medical Center in Rockford.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, May 1, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona. Interment will be at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery in Ottawa.
Mr. Becker was born in Marseilles on January 12, 1939 to John and Elsie (Gandolfi) Becker. He married Phyllis Axline on April 4, 1974. He owned and operated Becker Unlimited working as a contractor and was a union electrician.
Mr. Becker played the drums and along with his wife, Phyllis, played in their band The Midnighters. He would also play drums for the church in Toluca. Mr. Becker enjoyed model trains and had a model carnival. He was very creative which included making earrings for his wife. Mr. Becker restored batteries as a hobby. He loved bowling, fried chicken, and beer.
Mr. Becker is survived by four children Jim Becker of Jacksonville, FL, Louis Becker of Naples, FL, Mick Becker of Naples, FL, and Trysha Becker of Ottawa; three stepchildren Beth Knop of Streator, Laurie Green of Streator, and PJ Green of Marseilles; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis on May 6, 2000, one son John Becker, and his sister Marianne Dahl.
