Lori Ann Brandner

Lori Ann Brandner, 62, of Kempton, formerly of La Salle, passed away after an extended illness on February 25, 2026 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, March 4, at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will be at St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle.

Lori was born in Ottawa on March 3, 1963 to James and Judith (McCarrens) Brandner. She was employed at Adventures Unlimited Bookstore and Publishing from 2009 until her passing. She lived for her family, friends, work, and her golf cart.

She is survived by her parents, James and Rita Brandner of Ames, IA; three siblings, Kevin (Susie) Brandner of Lostant, Sue (Don Hart) Brandner of La Salle, Jay (Jeanette) Brandner of Ames, IA; numerous nieces and nephews; her special friend and caregiver, Carol Bolatto of Campus.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Judith and two brothers, Scott Joseph Brandner and Scott Alan Brandner.
