Linda Grandadam, 76, of La Salle and formerly of Ottawa, passed away March 25, 2024 in Lacon Rehab and Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Rev. Gregory Jarzombek OSB officiating. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park in Spring Valley. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of services.
Linda was born in Ottawa on December 7, 1947 to Francis and Corine (Murray) Grandadam. She worked at the Friendship House in Ottawa and retired from Horizon House in Peru.
Linda attended the School for the Blind and Deaf in Jacksonville, IL. She enjoyed making potholders, playing the accordion and harmonica, listening to the radio, and watching Wheel of Fortune. She was a good helper to her mother, an avid Cub fan, and loved fried chicken and pizza.
Linda is survived by three sisters Diane Savage of La Salle, Debbie (Dave) Henneke of Ottawa, and Barbara Mains of La Salle; one brother Darrell (Debra) Grandadam of Granville; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother-in-law Warren Savage; maternal and paternal grandparents; three beloved nephews Francis, Emilio, and Jason.
Pallbearers will be Darrell, Dallas, Cody, Brodee, Hayden, and Carter Grandadam.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be donated to Horizon House.
