Linda L. Dzierzynski

Linda L. Dzierzynski, 77, of Peru, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery in La Salle.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with Linda’s services.

Linda was born in La Salle on December 16, 1945 to Oscar and Juliet (Bornac) Lishewski.  She married Larry Dzierzynski on April 29, 1972.  She worked at Westclox.

Linda enjoyed fishing and riding her bicycle.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their events. She was on the Peru City Park Board. 

Linda is survived by her husband Larry of Peru; two sons, Scott (Carlene) Dzierzynski of Round Lake and Nicholas (Julie) Dzierzynski of Aurora; four grandchildren, Ryne, Shawn, Eva and Alison; one brother Charles Lishewski of La Salle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law Rhonda Lishewski.
