Lila Born, 97, of Peru, passed away September 27, 2023 in Allure Nursing Home in Peru.
Private burial will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in La Salle. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ms. Born was born in La Salle on November 24, 1925 to Edward and Louise Born. She was a 1943 graduate of La Salle-Peru Township High School. She was a paralegal with Westclox and later, worked for an insurance company.
Ms. Born is survived by several cousins.
