Laurie C. Rogge

Laurie C. Rogge, 81, of La Salle, passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2023, in St. Margaret’s Health in Spring Valley.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Friday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Rev. Betty Delgado officiating.  Burial will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Laurie was born in Detroit, MI on July 11, 1941.  She married John A. Rogge on August 19, 1995, and he died on August 8, 2009.  She retired from Eakas in Peru. She was a member of Lighthouse Preservation Society and enjoyed attending events for Cops4Cancer.  She loved playing euchre, traveling, looking at wildlife and playing tickets and pull tabs.

Laurie is survived by her special companion Willie Docken of La Salle; two daughters, Lennie (Rick) Mobley of Spring Valley and Susane Keeley of Marlette, MI; two sons, Patrick (Lori Lovejoy) Banker of Harbor Beach, MI and Shawn (Melissa) Mackey of Spring Valley; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister Lynn Koehler of Spring Valley and one favorite nephew Derek (Tracy) Koehler of Peru.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary, 1st husband Larry Banker, 2nd husband John Rogge, one son-in-law Andy Polishuk and one brother-in-law Larry Koehler.
