Laura Jordan Obituary
Laura Rose Jordan, 74, of Peru, passed away December 9, 2020 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial mass and celebration of life will be at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with Laura’s services.
Laura was born in La Salle on December 31, 1945 to Ignatius “Jimmy” and Loretta (Kwatick) Jordan. She was an avid Chicago Cub fan and loved watching her grandchildren.
Laura worked for IVCH for over 20 years. She also worked at Royal Auto in Peru and Heritage Manor until her retirement.
Survivors include her son Kevin Jordan of Zeeland, MI and her daughter Karen Jordan of Oglesby; six grandchildren, Trevor Jordan of Holland, MI and Cade Jordan of Allendale, MI, Tesah (Justin) Lundstrom of Yuma, AZ, Ashley Bain of Oglesby and Nolan and Kendall Adkins of Oglesby; three great-grandchildren, Elena Rose, Aiden James and Iris Ann.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Roberta Jordan and a son Brian Jordan in 1977.
