Kristie Ann Mattiazza

Kristie Ann Mattiazza, 74, of Peru, passed away in Morton surrounded by her family on May 22, 2026.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Friday May 29, at St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle with The Very Rev. Thomas Otto officiating.  Burial will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle.  Visitation will be in the church on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of services.  The Hurst Funeral Home is entrusted with her funeral arrangements.

Kristie was born in La Salle on January 2, 1952 to Bob and Maxine (Haley) Blass.  She married Tony Mattiazza on August 9, 1975.  She worked at Duncan Insurance and retired from Dakota Street Insurance.

Kristie enjoyed reading, baking and being a homemaker.  She loved being a mom.

She is survived by her husband Tony of Peru; two daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Mueller of Normal and Lori Mattiazza of Morton; three grandchildren, Owen, Olivia and Mia; one brother Jim (Mary) Blass of Seneca, SC.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
