Kenneth Knafelc Obituary
Kenneth W. “KK” Knafelc, 78, of La Salle, passed away at home on February 27, 2022 with his wife Kathy by his side.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Funeral services will be private. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kenny was born in La Salle on November 28, 1943 to Antone and Theresa (Spelich) Knafelc. He married Kathleen Pryde on February 14, 1995. He was a laborer with Union #1203 and later #393. He worked for Practical Builders as a laborer. He also worked as a custodian at La Salle Public Library and La Salle Elementary School. Kenny enjoyed bike riding, walking, and taking car rides. He loved being outdoors and especially while feeding the squirrels.
Kenny is survived by his wife Kathy of La Salle, one brother George Knafelc of La Salle, one sister Darlene Knafelc of Spring Valley, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Jean Ferrari and Lorraine Momeny, and one brother James Knafelc.
