Kenneth W. Kaszynski

Kenneth W. Kaszynski, 72, of Peru, died August 16, 2019 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria surrounded by his family. Per Kenny’s wishes there will be no services. The Hurst Funeral Home In LaSalle is assisting with his arrangements.

Kenny was born in Peru on January 4, 1947 to Ben and Mary (Predanich) Kaszynski. He was a 1965 graduate of St. Bede Academy. He then served as a medic with the United States Army, serving in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. Kenny was a commercial developer and a real estate broker. 

Dad, Kenneth, KWK, Kenny, Kash, or Mr. Wonderful, names he was often referred to, loved to have a good time and always loved to laugh. He was a man of style and swagger, and full of charm. He enjoyed a warm breeze in his face, cool waters on his body, and his feet in the sand. He loved to dance, close his eyes and sing Frank Sinatra from the top of his lungs with the top down and hair blowing in the wind. He loved to drink martinis with the utmost passion, always dirty, always extra blue cheese olives. 

He is survived by his best friend and partner, Christine Uebel of Peru, four children; Kyle (Bethany) Kaszynski of Germantown, WI, Heather Kaszynski of Chicago, Travis Kaszynski of Boise, ID., and Taylor (Nate) Jackson of Minneapolis, MN; five grandchildren and one brother Dennis Kaszynski of Peru. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
