Kendra A. Thomas

Kendra S. Thomas, 16, of Tonica, passed away as a result of an automobile accident on June 17, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be 6:00 PM Sunday in the Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until time of services Sunday.

Kendra was born in Ottawa on April 9, 2008. She enjoyed cheerleading, playing softball and volleyball.  She was an avid animal lover.  She was a free spirit and precious wild flower.

She is survived by her mother Sally (Patrick Falhaven) Thomas of Tonica and her father Patrick (Lauren) Thomas of Lostant; six siblings, Kenzie Meuser, Kaylie Thomas, Axel Thomas, Toli Thomas, Ace Thomas and Lia Thomas; two aunts, Marlo (Jim) Payne and Jamie (Tim) Lock; one uncle Gary (Tracie) Thomas; special friends, Kristy and Don Vargo; several loving cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Leslie Patrick Thomas, paternal great grandparents, Harold (Lillian) Sibley and Red (Shirley) Thomas.
