Julius “Steve” Telposky

Julius “Steve” Telposky, 67, of La Salle, died January 30, 2021 in St. Margaret’s Health in Peru.

Celebration of Life will be from 5 to 7:00 PM Friday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.  Private burial will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.  

Steve was born in Chicago on January 20, 1954 to Frank and Shirley (Schluetes) Telposky.  He served with the United States Army from 1971 until 1973.  He retired from Ace Hardware in Princeton.

Steve loved being with his friends. He enjoyed a drink or two, camping, boat races and demolition derby’s.

Steve is survived by his girlfriend and care giver Mary Spillman of La Salle; close friends, Bill and Marge Keating of Chicago and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers.
