Jorge Maldonado Valdes

Jorge Maldonado Valdes, 45, of DePue, formerly of Mexico, passed away September 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday September 14 at St. Hyacinth’s Catholic Church in La Salle with the Very Rev. Thomas Otto officiating. Visitation will be 4-8:00 PM on Saturday at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle. Burial will be at a later date in Mexico.

Jorge was born in Morelia, Mexico on January 11, 1979 to Macario Maldonado and Maria Domitila Valdez. He was an order processor of Altman Plants. He married Araceli Ortiz.

Jorge is survived by his wife Araceli of DePue; children America, Diego, Camila, and Paulina Maldonado all of Depue; his parents in Mexico; one brother Carlos Maldonado Valdez; and three sisters Veronica, Elizabeth, and Maria de los Angeles Maldonado Valez all of Mexico.
