Jonathan Moscosa

Jonathan Moscosa, 25, passed away at home on December 3, 2025.

Mass of Christian burial will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 10, at St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle with the Very Rev. Thomas Otto officiating. Burial will be at St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery in La Salle. Visitation will be in the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle has been entrusted with his arrangements. The mass will be live-streamed via the Hurst Funeral Home Facebook page.

Jonathan was born in Peru on February 28, 2000 to Alicia Moscosa. He was a graduate of La Salle-Peru Township High School. Jonathan loved to travel and try different foods. He enjoyed swimming.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Alicia of Peru; his sister, Karina Moscosa; his brother, Jesus Garcia; grandfather, Antonio Moscosa; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosa Sanchez Hernandez.
