Jerome M. Uranich

Jerome M. Uranich, 83, of La Salle, passed away at home on March 18, 2025.

Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of his ashes with be in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery in La Salle.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with his arrangements.

Jerome was born in Chicago on October 31, 1941 to John and Loretta (Studzynski) Uranich.  He married Shirley M. Repsel at St. Mary’s Church in Peru.  He worked as a diesel mechanic.

Jerome is survived by one sister, Sharon Lukosus of Spring Valley; nephew Darrell J. Lukosus of Peru; niece Becky L. Lukosus of La Salle and great-nephew Derek D. Lukosus of Peru.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his parents and a brother-in-law Joseph B. Lukosus.
