Jeanine A. Foley

Jeanine Foley, 57, of Peru, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on July 31, 2023.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Friday in the St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle with Rev. Dominic Garramone OSB officiating.  Burial will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 PM Thursday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.  Additional visitation will be in the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Jeanine was born in La Salle on July 22, 1966 to Emil and Irene (Gulio) Bianchi.  She was a 1984 graduate of La Salle-Peru Township High School.  She married Lawrence Foley in St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle on September 15, 1984.

Jeanine worked at Moore’s Family Restaurant in Oglesby and CPI for 18 years.  She started Nene’s Mesh’n Around in 2020.  She loved to craft and take Las Vegas vacations.

Jeanine is survived by her husband Larry; one daughter Jenna (Joel) Karun of Oglesby; one son Kyle Foley of Peru; one grandson Jack Karun of Oglesby; her mother Irene Gulio-Green of La Salle; father Emil (Sharon) Bianchi of Peru; one sister Vickie (Jeff) Ladzinski of Utica; two brothers, Greg (Roz) Bianchi of O’Fallen and Yancy (Carrie) Green of La Salle; special little girl Brooke and step-mother Beatrice (Ronnie) Burke of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by Ronnie Burke in 2022.

Pallbearers will be Scotty and Cody Guynn, Nicole Field, Scott Bianchi, Fran Angelo, Alyssa and Kaitlyn Foley.
